Crossed pistols pendant

I was contacted recently about a project involving crossed pistol pendant for an avid pistol shooter and she  wanted the number 22 on it because of some meaning it had to her and her friends. I sat down and penciled out the design and after looking at it for a few days, I decided to make it two tone for a stunning affect. I started with a piece of jewelers brass and made my the base design and then made the sterling silver accents. I stamped the features that were needed on the guns and silver soldered my accents to the piece. A little sanding, some pre-polish and then a nice final polish finished my piece to perfection.  My customer was thrilled with the results.

One of my customers recently came to me and asked if I had ever worked in Brass. Of course I said many times we  make brass models before we make something in Silver. With the price of Silver being so high I was delighted to learn that there was some market for the less expensive metal. I put the shape on a piece of paper and started playing with different designs. The final design shown here was just what I was looking for. I glued the pattern to a piece of brass sheet and started drilling holes for the areas that needed to be cut out. Then after cutting the areas out I stamped a few little patterns on them to make them complete. Once they were polished I delivered them to my customer and she was delighted. She told me that it was very hard to find earrings for her Belly Dancing Costumes and these were exactly what she was looking for.

I was recently asked to design a pendant for a family that had a Pharmacy Technician Graduate, so I started to look around at the current availability in the market place and found that really none existed. So with pencil in hand I scratched out some designs and decided on this one. I did it in the style I use for my other medical pendants like the Veterinary pendants that I make that are so popular. I presented it to my customer and they thought it was great. Then they asked if it could be a lapel pin and I said of course. This is a hand made item not a casting, it is cut by hand out of a piece of Eco Friendly Sterling Silver and hand finished to perfection. Your graduate spent a great deal of time working on their studies, this piece shows the pride you and they have for their new profession. Sterling Owl Ring

This Large Owl Ring was an interesting project for one of my good customers. The owl face is large probably 1.5 inches long and this is a big heavy ring. The eyes are Garnets and they actually could be any stone that would fit in the space. Owls are great creatures of  the night with fascinating lore and history. This particular Owl had a meaning to my customer. Other Owl projects of mine include an Owl Pendant and a Owl Money Clip , I also have another owl ring that will be available soon.
